Woven in Our Lives was the theme for Graduation 2016.  As the technical director for this event I was accountable for managing the budget and coordinating with CalArts facilities, the production team and my build team to create a successful event.

This year we incorporated the graduating senior dinner into the event and carried the theme over to the main gallery of the school.  

Woven In Our Lives

There was 30,000 ft of rope that was woven through the truss on the stage and extended out over the audience.  The front of the stage was an infinity mirror that was lit from behind.
